What's on

Church Ministries

See, what a morning, gloriously bright,
With the dawning of hope in Jerusalem;
Folded the grave-clothes, tomb filled with light,
As the angels announce, “Christ is risen!” See God's salvation plan,
Wrought in love, borne in pain, paid in sacrifice,
Fulfilled in Christ, the Man,
For He lives: Christ is risen from the dead!

See Mary weeping, “Where is He laid?”
As in sorrow she turns from the empty tomb;
Hears a voice speaking, calling her name;
It's the Master, the Lord raised to life again!
The voice that spans the years,
Speaking life, stirring hope, bringing peace to us,
Will sound till He appears,
For He lives: Christ is risen from the dead!

They went from the tomb with great joy

Matthew 28:8

They worshipped Him

Luke 24:52

The central doctrine of Christianity is the resurrection of the Lord Jesus from the dead and that there were many witnesses who testified to seeing the saviour of the world alive.

There were many witnesses who gave there own account of the facts of the resurrection, the linen cloths lying in the empty tomb, the women whom Jesus appeared to first and the gospel writer who wrote with varying details of the greatest event in history.

Like John who recorded that he 'saw and believed', many since have placed there faith in the Lord Jesus who conquered sin and death and rose triumphantly on the third day.

Logos Hope visiting Leith 2nd -13th April

Sunday Evening Bible Teaching Topics

These are the subjects that will be under review this month. There has been a good response to the excellent teaching on many of the great Bible truths. Please continue to come along and also to take the opportunity to listen to the recordings. We all need to have a good understanding of God's Word to be effectively equipped to follow the Lord Jesus.
