What's on

Church Ministries

We believe in God the Father!
We believe in Jesus Christ!
We believe in the Holy Spirit!
And He's given us new life!
We believe in the crucifixion!
We believe that He conquered death!
We believe in the resurrection!
And He's comin' back again!

Let the lost be found and the dead be raised!
In the here and now, let love invade!
Let the church live love our God will see
We believe, We believe!
And the gates of hell will not prevail!
For the power of God, has torn the vail!
Now we know Your love will never fail!
We believe, We believe!

Jesus said to her "I am the Resurrection and the Life"

John 11:25

Can you fathom the mysteries of God?
Can you probe the limits of the Almighty

Job 11:7

The resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ is the central point of the Christian faith, without it Paul said our faith is useless. The month we celebrate Easter, remembering the Lord in the Garden, His Trials, The Cross, Resurrection and Ascension that we read of in the closing chapters of the Gospels. Today many would dismiss the message of the resurrection however for believers it is wonderful time to consider our Lord and Saviour. We think of the suffering of the Cross how it was necessary that one without sin should pay the price for our sins. We reflect on the tomb that was empty then followed by appearances of the risen Lord, which turned them from dispirited people to fervent witnesses. May this Easter be a time of reflection and blessing. Andy Wilson

Mission Focus

Mission Focus looked at the country of North Korea and the persecution of Christians in the country. All religions have been heavily repressed. Christians meet in secret, in small house churches gathering in fields, attics, caves, dugout areas and enclosed spaces inside houses.

The gospel came to Korea in 1866. The first Protestant church was planted in 1884. Revival occurred in Korea from 1903-1908, centered on the North, but influencing many parts of the country. Japan colonized Korea in 1910 and many Christians were reportedly martyred. Korea was partitioned after World War II between the U.S. in the south and Russia in the north.

As many as 100,000 Christians are reportedly being held in prison camps in North Korea, because of their beliefs. God has not forgotten them. He remembers them as a precious people in His sight, the object of God's love. Learn about North Korea's situation through books, websites news and prayer bulletins.

Last month Hugh Wallace passed away and a Thanksgiving Service reflected on his life and service for the Lord Jesus. We will miss him. Please remember Wilmar and the Wallace family at this time.
