What's on

The Lord's my shepherd, I'll not want
He makes me lie in pastures green.
He leads me by the still, still waters,
His goodness restores my soul.

And I will trust in You alone.
And I will trust in You alone,
For Your endless mercy follows me,
Your goodness will lead me home.

He guides my ways in righteousness,
And He anoints my head with oil,
And my cup, it overflows with joy,
I feast on His pure delights.

And though I walk the darkest path,
I will not fear the evil one,
For You are with me, and Your rod and staff
Are the comfort I need to know.

The Good Shepherd

There are many people from different nations who are travelling around the world looking for a place to settle. It is a very complex situation that has developed that will be difficult to resolve satisfactorily. For Christians in such a situation and for us in our circumstances, we have a Shepherd to lead and to guide us along the way. The Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour is our Shepherd, the one who said, “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.” We must always be thankful for the sacrifice of our Lord and the price He paid to procure our Salvation. We also acknowledge His continued care and concern for us along the way since trusting Him. It is good to remember whenever and wherever His goodness will lead us home. That is home to our home in heaven. Andy Wilson

Ladies Day Renfrew

Albert Hall Evangelical Church Renfrew is having a 'Ladies Day', on Saturday 24th October, 2-7pm. The theme is 'Encountering God' with the speaker, Anne Cairns, from N. Ireland, who served the Lord in Japan.

Wedding Day

Marc and Palma Campbell were married on Thursday 10th September at Bethany. The wedding day is one day to remember with many precious memories to look back on. They will be able to do that with all the lovely photographs, especially as they were blessed with such fine sunny weather, a rare event this summer. We would like to wish God's blessing on the newly married couple.

Mission Focus

Mission Focus last month was led by Mark Wilson when there was a feature looking at the country of Azerbaijan, when there was an opportunity to learn some new interesting facts about the country, most importantly the work being done for the Lord in Azerbaijan. This month the focus will be on Jairah Funds.

Prayer

Please continue to pray for those unable to come along to Bethany as they once did. Also pray for those in Bethany as well as those in our families who are ill, may they know God's peace and help with them.
