What's on

Church Ministries

See, what a morning, gloriously bright
with the dawning of hope in Jerusalem
folded the grave clothes, tomb filled with light
as the angels announce Christ is risen!
See God's salvation plan, wrought in love,
borne in pain, paid in sacrifice,
fulfilled in Christ, the Man,
for He lives: Christ is risen from the dead

One with the Father, Ancient of Days,
Through the Spirit who clothes faith with certainty
Honour and blessing, glory and praise
To the King crowned with power and authority!
And we are raised with Him,
Death is dead, love has won, Christ has conquered;
And we shall reign with Him
For He lives, Christ is risen from the dead!

Resume

Autumn beckons the summer over, although for some it ended after the few days of good weather in mid July, which means that many church activities will recommence. For those involved there is much preparation and endeavour involved in each event and activity, however it would all be in vain if prayer was not at the forefront of all that is done. Let us once again go for forward in faith and in much prayer to the God who can make all things possible.

Camp 2008

After a long wait, camp 2008 began in July with Douglas Young as speaker. Douglas spoke on encounters with Jesus, including Nicodemus, Jairus, the women at the well and Zacchaeus, which was well received by the campers.

Campers enjoyed many morning activities including swimming, dancing, football and crafts. Whittaugh Park offered wall climbing, archery, kayaking and many more activities for the afternoon. While the evening activities included team games and a party on the last night. Prayers were answered with good weather and safety. We thank you for your prayers and support for this year's camp including the home baking that was enjoyed by all campers.
