Giving

Our church is sustained by the generosity of regular sacrificial giving. The tithes and donations you make to Bethany Evangelical Church make a difference to our church, resource the ministries we provide, keeping our doors open and our community thriving. If you feel led to give, know that every contribution, large or small, is deeply appreciated and makes a meaningful difference. Thank you for being part of what God is doing here.

There are various ways you can donate.

In Person - We have a collection box each week for you to give a cash gift.

Bank Transfer / Internet Banking - If you would like to know more about setting up regular giving please get in touch or download a Standing Order Mandate Form. Either set this up yourself or take it to your local bank who can do this for you.

Gift Aid

If you are a UK Tax payer (Income tax or Capital Gains Tax) and wish to give to the work of the Lord at Bethany, then we can receive additional tax relief from the UK Government. We facilitate this through a not-for-profit organisation called The Lord’s Work Trust based in Kilmarnock. The trust is able to reclaim tax which you have already paid.

For example:
£10 becomes £12.50*, £100 becomes £125* etc – an increase of 25%.

You can use this method for all your giving if you so wish (provided you remain a UK tax payer and pay an equivalent amount of tax). The Lord’s Work Trust facilitate this for us as a charity and assist with all the paperwork.

Any giving by this method requires the money to be firstly be sent to them. They in turn reclaim the tax on your behalf and send both your giving and the tax claimed back to Bethany. The tax is usually recovered within one month.

*Assumes income tax at 20%
